Summer Camp W4: Puck Protection, Battles

Our 4-day intensives focus on: - Battle Skills: understanding angling concepts, off-puck positioning - Puck Protection: using body positioning, and making plays in tight areas - Reading the play and making smart choices 🔸 Age: 2010–2016 (2017–2018 by request) 🔸 DATES: August 4- 7 🔸 Location: RINX Arena, 65 Orfus Rd, Toronto, ON 🔸 Full-day camp: 9:00 AM – 4:15 PM _____________________________________________________ SKILLS YOU DEVELOP 🔹 3 hours of on-ice training - Focus on puck protection, battles, and contact preparation. Players learn how to protect the puck under pressure, win 1v1 and 2v2 battles, use body positioning, and make plays in tight areas — all in game-like scenarios. 🔹 1.5 hours of off-ice training - Develop strength, balance, coordination, and explosiveness to stay strong on skates and win physical situations along the boards and in front of the net. 🔹 30-minute team talk & hockey IQ sessions - Break down battle habits, decision-making under pressure, angling concepts, and off-puck positioning through interactive discussions and video-style explanations. _____________________________________________________ WHAT YOU’ll GAIN FROM SUMMER CAMP Our players leave with improved puck protection skills, stronger confidence, new friends, and a training plan to continue their development off the season Designed for players aiming to enhance their on-ice performance, the program combines expert instruction with practical drills. 🕒 Free Pick-Up Grace Period We understand that work and daily schedules don’t always go as planned. That’s why we offer a free 1-hour pick-up grace period. Although camp runs from 9:00 AM to 4:15 PM, our coaches will supervise players until 5:15 PM at no extra cost if you are delayed.
