In North America, mostly in Canada and Ontario, there are many leagues and different ways to go higher level in hockey. Even if you are not playing in top league now, there is always a chance to go up. One recent example: in 2024–2025 season, Charles Ashcroft get commitment to Yale University after very strong year with UCC in CPSHA.

When you are junior, it very important to know your body. Train with smart way, eat right food, take care of mental side, and also rest and recovery is big priority.
