SUMMER CAMP: PRE-SEASON INTENSIVE

Prepare for the season with our Pre-Season Intensive Camp, designed to build game-ready skills and confidence before tryouts. 📅 Dates: August 24–28 (Monday–Friday) 🕣 Time: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM 📍 Location: Canlan York Arena (989 Murray Ross Parkway, Toronto, ON) 🔸 Age: 2012–2017 WEEK STRUCTURE 🔹 Day 1–2: Skills & Skating Foundation Edge work and skating control Puck control and stickhandling technique Over-speed drills with the puck Balance, coordination, and skating efficiency 👉 Focus on building strong technical habits and control at speed 🔹 Day 3: Battles & Puck Protection 1v1 battles in small areas Puck protection using body positioning Angling and winning possession Compete level and physical engagement 👉 Focus on playing stronger and more confident in contact situations 🔹 Day 4–5: Shooting, Passing & Game Situations Shooting mechanics and quick release Passing accuracy and timing Small area games and decision-making Applying skills under pressure. Training hours: 🔹 15 hours of on-ice training (3 hours per day) 🔹 7.5 hours of off-ice training (1,5 hours per day) 👉 Focus on transferring skills into real game situations WHAT PLAYERS GAIN 🔸 Better skating control and edge work 🔸 Stronger puck control at speed 🔸 Confidence in battles and puck protection 🔸 Improved shooting and passing execution 🔸 Game-ready habits heading into the season
